Cutters

Nassau Fire has established cutters for every rescue job.  The C30/50 Mini Cutter is ideal for special operations.  The C130 Cutter, our lightest duty cutter, packs an incredible 90,000 lbs of cutting force. Built for heavy rescue, the C165 Cutter produces an amazing 144,000 lbs of cutting force. The C180 Cutter is mostly used in light/heavy extrication where large cuts are needed. For heavy rescues, you will not be disappointed using the C236 Cutter, as it produces a whopping 236,000 lbs of cutting force and is boron capable. And when extra large cuts are needed, nothing beats the C270 Cutter. The Mass Transit Cutter (MTC 230) is specifically designed for Mass Transit.  Finally, our most powerful and advanced in cutter technology is the All 9 Cutter (it earned its name from scoring all 9's on the NFPA 1936 scale).
