Rescue Equipment Demo Held on Super Bowl Sunday

While many of us were getting ready to enjoy good food, time with family and friends, and the big game on Super Bowl Sunday, members from Genesis Rescue Systems and Nassau Fire Apparatus were in North Bellmore, New York demoing emergency rescue equipment. Ed McManus (Instructor for Genesis Rescue Systems), Rob Buglione (Genesis Product Specialist and Instructor for Nassau Fire Apparatus), Tommy Kiklava (Instructor for Nassau Fire Apparatus), and James Murphy (Instructor for Nassau Fire Apparatus), made a visit to North Bellmore Fire Department's fire house to show them how several pieces of rescue equipment worked in action.

The demo lasted from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Super Bowl Sunday. The guys from Genesis Rescue Systems and Nassau Fire Apparatus were able to put a variety of rescue tools into action during that time frame. The different types of rescue equipment demoed included hydraulic pumps, cutters, spreaders, and rams. The team was especially excited to show off their coolest tool, the mass transit cutter, which allows rescue teams to cut into rail cars, buses and aircrafts! Key features covered were the speed, weight, versatility, and lifetime warranty that come standard with every piece of Genesis Rescue Systems rescue equipment.

Why the rescue equipment demo you ask?

Nassau Fire Apparatus starts off their sales process for any rescue tool with a demo of the equipment at the customer's location. There is no better way to see the superior quality of Genesis Rescue Systems' tools or the dedication and commitment to service from Nassau Fire Apparatus than on onsite demo. With the first and only cutter in the industry to score all 9s on the NFPA 1936 cutting scale (A9/B9/C9/D9/E9) , it's easy to be impressed at these rescue tools in action. A demo is also a great chance for organizations to try out new rescue equipment, such as the mass transit cutter mentioned above.
